Under the leadership of pastor Jeffrey Wicker the body of believers in Forrest City, Arkansas, officially became a church plant during the True Church Conference of 2011. After much prayer and time spent seeking the Lord's direction, the Elders of Grace Life Church of Muscle Shoals took on the responsibility of shepherding this small flock, and the group of believers affirmed their commitment to building a true church.
Here is a an excerpt of the salvation testimony of Jeffrey Wicker that sums up his commitment to God, his family and this newborn church:
"I am committed to secret devotion to God in my heart, committed to marriage until the death, committed to raising my children to love the God of their father by displaying intimacy with God as a priority and information about God consistent with intimacy, and I am committed to making DISCIPLES by doing the hard work of life-on-life ministry as God is pleased to save sinners through the Gospel."
