The life and history of First Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals can be described this way: grace, life, and God’s glory! Grace is the eternal and absolute free favor of God. Grace produces new and vibrant spiritual life, and this transformed life brings great glory to God!

In the Bible, names hold great meaning. First Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals is the same church with the same doctrine, distinctives, and denomination. But now, our name—Grace Life Church of the Shoals—defines who we are. We are a church committed to the doctrines of grace, the life of the Spirit, and the glory of God through historic Baptist doctrine.

Grace Life Church of the Shoals is a glory-of-God-focused, Christ-centered, Bible-saturated body of believers who exist by the grace of God to see spiritual life lived out for the glory of God. We boast of nothing but the cross of Jesus Christ.
