Anchored in Truth partners with younger or revitalized churches who desire to be Glory of God focused, Christ honoring, and Bible saturated.  Each relationship is unique and individualized but all seek to edify, encourage and strengthen leaders as they purpose to structure the church according to the Word of God.  The interaction includes doctrinal and practical studies, regular communication, and materials.

What happens when a handful of people walk away from “human” church and determine to turn to the Bible as a manual for the church?  Pastor Noel Hendrix and the congregation of Calvary Fellowship in North Carolina are over five years into just such a journey.  God has not only sustained them, but He has given them a steadfast, unrelenting drive to see Him glorified in the local church!

Early on, the church, which began with two couples meeting in the Pastor’s home, faced the isolation that often occurs when you take a stand on biblical doctrine.  It was at this time that the Lord brought them into contact with Anchored in Truth Ministries.  The leadership of the church attended our 2007 True Church Conference, "The Miracle of Conversion." The conference offered not only an assurance that they were not alone in the battle, but it introduced them to like-minded brothers who would serve as an ongoing source of strength.  They left convinced that there was no retreating!

Over the last few years the Lord has given increase, and they have relocated first to a Community Center, then to a hotel, a rented church facility, and just recently God has provided their own property and building!  Pastor Noel confesses, “Ours is a narrow focus; we are committed to God’s church.  We don’t need to be involved in every passing program.  We will be relentless and unwavering from God’s plan to bring Himself glory in the church.”  And praise the Lord, Calvary Fellowship is now actively working to strengthen other church plants, and they anticipate being actively involved in the church planting process.   Rejoice with us as God is building a true church in Falls River, North Carolina, for His glory!
