As preachers, we are required to preach so that the hearers will know all of Christ that He wants them to know until we see Him face to face. I am not talking about facts and figures, but spiritually dynamic truths and principles that we apply to our lives today. I am talking about knowing it so that you can make it incarnational into your life and heart in a deeper way.

The enemies of the church often do not attack the way that we expect. They don’t just come in suddenly and abruptly, like dropping a bomb, and let their presence be known. They are much more slow and seductive. They often tend to take a gradual approach, much like a cancer in the body that grows undetected and far too often isn’t noticed until it’s too late. Today I want to expose one of these enemies of the church to you. I call this enemy the Milky Way.

Did you know that as a Christian you are in a most worthy and precious condition? That is why we are called to sometimes experience rejection and other persecutions. That is what Hebrews 11:38 is telling us. The writer of Hebrews spoke of those who had been persecuted by rejection and some martyred as, “men of whom the world was not worthy.” God’s point is that we are most worthy and precious to God, and the world is not worthy of our fellowship. The world’s rejection of us is actually a sovereign God’s judgment of them!

God has so graciously multiplied the requests for resources through our online store that we will soon have to begin adding shipping charges to each order. It’s important to note that we do not include handling charges, and the shipping amount you will be charged is the exact shipping cost of sending your order.
Along with internal office upgrades, your order delivery times should be greatly reduced! The new shipping charge policy will not take effect until April 16, 2008, so there are a few remaining days to shop at store.anchoredintruth.org

Spiritual bonding is an essential part of Christian fellowship. Spiritual bonding must take place. Spiritual bonding does not just happen, but takes time and trust. In the context of a large church, such as First Baptist Church, bonding can prove difficult. In fact, often in a church of 100, spiritual bonding can be difficult. However, bonding which is essential, can take place whether you are in a church of 100 or in a church of 1000. This can happen through the ministry of Small Groups.
