A 13-member, short-term, mission team recently spent the week at our church plant in Ankeny, Iowa, The team set out on a Monday morning to get the word out about Grace Life Church of Greater Des Moines.  They began in the neighborhood of Nate and Carrie Koenig.  Fliers in hand, they split up and were able to report at the end-of-the-day meeting that they had reached more than 700 homes and had 20 good Gospel interactions with the people of the neighborhood.  One of the most encouraging reports was the reception two of the team members received from a lady of the Muslim faith. They were able to share about Christ and His atonement for sin and to invite her to the church and the ladies’ Small Group Bible Study, in which she showed some interest.

 
The team consisted of nine students and five adults, including Senior Pastor, Jeff Noblit; Associate Pastor for Missions, Steve McAlister; and Student Activities Director, Justin Cosby.
