Read Passage: Hebrews 11:24-27*
Scripture makes it very clear that Moses' faith was not just a temporal faith to avoid a temporal death. Moses' faith was a faith trusting in the coming provision of God for the sins of His people. Moses believed that God was sending His Savior. He did not have the understanding we have but by faith looked forward to the coming of Christ as his only hope for salvation.
