Elspeth is from the United Kingdom and was involved in helping a church plant in Scotland with her parents, Ali and Caroline McLachlan. She enjoys teaching English as a foreign language and learning about other cultures, and she has a BA in English Literature and Language. She moved to the United States to get married, and she and her husband, Austin, are members at Grace Life Church.
