Sandy lives in the Shoals area and has been a part of Grace Life Church for 23 years, serving as a Ladies' Small Group Outreach Leader, a Small Group Leader, a choir member, and several volunteer positions. 

After receiving a Master's Degree and Class AA Certification in Education from the University of Alabama, Sandy taught in the public school systems for 36 years. She is now enjoying retirement from that profession and uses those skills to serve Anchored in Truth as an Administrative Assistant.

She has two children: Kevin (married to Melissa), Brett (married to DeAnna), and five grandchildren (Mallory, Isaiah, Grayson, Ezekiel, and Micah.)
