July 2025 Update
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ whom we serve and glorify.
THANKING GOD FOR TRAVELING MERCIES
At this writing I am in the Philippines after a two weeks overseas trip to Europe attending a Global Leaders Conference and a Missions Conference respectively. I was in Warsaw, Poland and Milan, Italy. I was blessed to have met co-labourers from other parts of the world. It was also such an encouragement and challenge to see and to have met missionaries in Africa, Spain, France, Milan, Rome and other places. It was indeed a mission booster for me. My mission outlook of the world for missions was enlarged. I am thanking the Lord for the privilege.
PRAISING GOD FOR OUR BRETHREN
The half part of last year due to my wife’s health condition and her home going to the Lord was spent mostly in the Philippines. I was back in my ministry location for a short time then back again to the Philippines. Many of my pastors friends are asking, “Who’s taking charge of the work?” My answer is, “They are under the hands and care of the believers whom we trained in the ministry.” We have such men who take charge of the pulpit and other ministries there. I am thanking God for these men. I do have a regular meeting with them electronically. Thanks for modern technology, meeting them and the church and seeing them faithfully serving God even in my absence. I do miss them and hope to see and join them again as soon as I go back next month. While here I have been visiting some of our supporting churches and update them of what the Lord is doing.
PRAYERS FOR SOULS WON TO THE LORD
During my short visit to my ministry location a few months back, I led a couple to the Lord, Bro. Rico and and his wife. It was such a joy leading them through the Scriptures, the plan of salvation and their need to repent and believe on the Lord Jesus as Saviour. I have witnessed both of them praying the sinner’s prayer and asking Jesus to save their souls. I am happy to see them attending our Sunday Services. We do ask for your prayers as they follow the Lord in baptism. Such experiences encourage us to keep sowing the seeds of the gospel; for in time the Lord will give the harvest. It takes time, no doubt about it. But for sure, when we have sown, God brings the harvest. I thank you all for partnering with us in these endeavors.
CONTINUOUS PRAYERS NEEDED FOR OUR CHURCH BUILDING PURCHASE PROJECT
We have been praying earnestly to be able to purchase a shop house building for a church. Currently, the Lord has provided some funds towards this, and yet we still need some to complete the needed amount. We are looking on some other options on other buildings. It is my prayer that next year the Lord will provide us that property. We are asking God to give us the faith to believe that He is able.
THANKING GOD FOR YOUR PRAYERS FOR ME
Honestly, I am still adjusting to my new status. God has been good to me no doubt about it. But I still experience some grief in this journey. I have to face it head-on and face the reality of it. Being able to be with pastors who have been in the same experience has been a great help. Please be patient with me. I do appreciate you all for taking time accommodating me sharing with you this experience. I do need more of your prayers for this particular aspect of my life’s journey. May God be praised. Thank you for your prayers and faithful support. May the Lord continually bless.
