January 2026 Update

Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,

Allow me to greet you a blessed day, and may this letter find you enjoying the blessings of our Lord whom we serve!.

THANKING GOD FOR HIS CARE

Coming back more permanently and getting into the ministry this time without my wife was an altogether challenging situation and experience. When you have been together for a period of 46 years then you are by yourself at this point in time was and is quite a challenge and a very different experience. But accepting reality and the will of the Lord was and is the only way to face it head-on. I really appreciate and thank you all for covering me with prayers all the way. I still need them, no doubt about it for certainly I need the wisdom and strength to move on and decide what to do to face the years ahead. Definitely, by the grace of God, I am still enjoying doing ministry with the new situation and the changes coming up. I praise God for all of you who stood behind me all these times. Certainly, God cares and He still is.

MISSIONS CONFERENCE CHALLENGE

September 26-28 was our Annual Missions Conference. Five pastors from the Philippines challenged us on the great work of missions worldwide. The theme: “A church With A Vision”, reminded us of our cooperative responsibility to reach the world with the Gospel of Christ. We have increased our Commitments for Missions for in going, praying and supporting them that do go to fulfil the task is the duty of every believer who is part of a church.  It was also emphasized that any mission endeavor is dependent on the leadership and support of the membership. It was a great blessing to see our whole membership renewed their support for such a program and commitment. We thank the Lord for Pastors who came!

A NEW MISSIONARY FAMILY JOINING OUR TEAM

We have a new missionary family joining us, Bro. R. L. and his wife and two children. They arrived November 5 and they’re here now in. At the moment, Bro. R. and his wife are learning the local language with me. We do have classes every morning, Tuesday to Friday. I count it a rare privilege to be able to teach them the language. Please pray for them as they learn this important asset as they reach the people here for Christ.

FAMILY CAMP AND 28^th CHURCH ANNIVERSARY BLESSINGS

Strong families are needed  for a strong church. When this  is absent definitely a church shall suffer. Strong families are a result of a constant grounding of the Word. Oftentimes, we fail the families in our ministries. In line with this, we do have yearly Family Camps to help address this great need. This year we had our Family Retreat on November 29, followed by our Church Anniversary, the following day, November 30. We held it this time at a Retreat House. We had around 50 of our members registered for the special gathering. Bro. J. A. was our family camp speaker, and Bro. R. L. was our church anniversary speaker. It was both a fun time and a blessed gathering, praising God for His faithfulness.

SOME PRAYER CONCERNS

We continue to pray and ask the Lord to be able to purchase a building that we are using for church for a permanent property for the church. As I have shared in my previous updates we already have a portion of the total cost but we still need more. We are pleading with God to grant us this prayer and of course in His time. We covet your earnest prayers for this...

Once again thank you for praying for me at these times. I surely need it for strength and wisdom as I make decisions for my personal life and the ministry that He entrusted me. Thank you for your unceasing support and concerns for me and the work here.
